May Allah make radiant a servant who heard my saying and comprehended it, then conveyed it to one who hears it; He made him radiant, and made him radiant, and made him radiant, meaning He blessed him.
وَإِنَّمَا أَرَادَ حُسْنَ خُلُقِهِ وَقَدْرَهُ

وَهُوَ أَجْوَدُ الْخَشَبِ لِلْآنِيَةِ لِأَنَّهُ يُعْمَلُ مِنْهُ مَا رَقَّ مِنَ الْأَقْدَاحِ وَاتَّسَعَ وَمَا غَلُظَ وَلَا يَحْتَمِلُهُ مِنَ الْخَشَبِ غَيْرُهُ
And it is the best wood for vessels because from it are made thin and wide cups, and thick ones, which no other wood can bear.
وَمِنْبَرُ سَيِّدِنَا رَسُولِ اللهِ، صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نِضَارٌ
And the pulpit of our master, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is made of niḍār.
وَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ فِي قَدَحِ النِّضَارِ
And there is no harm in drinking from a niḍār cup.
وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ مَعْنَى النِّضَارِ هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَاحُ الْحُمْرُ الْجَيْشَانِيَّةُ سُمِّيَتْ نِضَارًا
And some of them said: the meaning of al-niḍār is these reddish al-Jayṣānī cups, they were named niḍār.

Greetings to Al-Nadirah, mistress of the tent, ... she was taken captive to you, though she did not travel.
وَجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاضِرَةٌ إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
Faces on that Day will be radiant, looking to their Lord.
وَقَالَ الزَّجَّاجُ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: نَضِرَتْ بِنَعِيمِ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّظَرِ إِلَى رَبِّهَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
And Al-Zajjaj said regarding His saying, the Almighty: they were radiant with the bliss of Paradise and looking to their Lord, the Almighty.
وَأَنْضَرَ النَّبْتُ: نَضِرَ وَرَقُهُ
And the plant became anḍara: its leaves became radiant.
وَغُلَامٌ نَضِيرٌ: نَاعِمٌ، وَالْأُنْثَى نَضِيرَةٌ
And a naḍīr boy: tender, and the female is naḍīrah.
وَقَدْ أَنْضَرَ الشَّجَرُ إِذَا اخْضَرَّ وَرَقُهُ
And the tree became anḍara when its leaves turned green.
وَالنَّاضِرُ: الْأَخْضَرُ الشَّدِيدُ الْخُضْرَةِ
And al-nāḍir: is intensely green.
يُقَالُ: أَخْضَرُ نَاضِرٌ كَمَا يُقَالُ: أَبْيَضُ نَاصِعٌ وَأَصْفَرُ فَاقِعٌ
It is said: intensely green, just as it is said: pure white and bright yellow.
وَقَدْ يُبَالِغُ بِالنَّاضِرِ فِي كُلِّ لَوْنٍ
And al-nāḍir can be used to exaggerate in every color.
يُقَالُ: أَحْمَرُ نَاضِرٌ وَأَصْفَرُ نَاضِرٌ
It is said: radiant red and radiant yellow.
أَخْضَرُ نَاضِرٌ مَعْنَاهُ نَاعِمٌ
Intensely green means tender.
وَقَالَ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ: كَأَنَّهُ يُجِيزُ أَبْيَضُ نَاضِرٌ وَأَحْمَرُ نَاضِرٌ وَمَعْنَاهُ النَّاعِمُ الَّذِي لَهُ بَرِيقٌ فِي صَفَائِهِ
And Abu Mansur said: it is as if he permits 'radiant white' and 'radiant red', and their meaning is tender with a sparkle in its clarity.
