إن الأرض إذا لم ينزل عليها المطر اربدت واقشعرت أي تقبضت وتجمعت.

قالت له هند لما ضرب أبا سيفان بالدرة: لرب يوم لو ضربته لاقشعر بطن مكة فقال: أجل.
