And a dirty thing may also be called 'qadhir'. So whoever says 'qadhira' makes it on the pattern of 'fa'ala' from 'qadhira' to 'yaqdhuru', so he is 'qadhir'. And whoever uses the jussive says 'qadhara' to 'yaqdhuru' with 'qadhara', so he is 'qadhir'.
وفي الحديث: اتقوا هذه القاذورة التي نهى الله عنها ؛ قال خالد بن جنبة: القاذورة التي نهى الله عنها الفعل القبيح واللفظ السيء؛ ورجل قذر [قذر] وقذر.
And in the Hadith: 'Beware of this filth which God has forbidden.' Khalid bin Junbah said: 'The filth which God has forbidden is the ugly deed and the bad word.' And a man is dirty [dirty] and dirty.
ويقال: أقذرتنا يا فلان أي أضجرتنا.
And it is said: 'You have bored us, O so-and-so,' meaning, 'You have annoyed us.'
ورجل مقذر: متقذر.

والقذور من النساء: المتنحية من الرجال؛ قال: لقد زادني حبا لسمراء أنها ... عيوف لإصهار اللئام، قذور
And the abstaining woman is one who keeps away from men; he said: 'My love for Samra' has increased because she ... avoids the in-laws of the base, she is abstaining.'
والقذور من النساء: التي تتنزه عن الأقذار.
And the abstaining woman is she who refrains from impurities.
ورجل مقذر: تجتنبه الناس، وهو في شعر الهذلي.
And a shunned man: people avoid him, and this is in the poetry of the Hudhayli.

وفي الحديث: ويبقى في الأرض شرار أهلها تلفظهم أرضوهم وتقذرهم نفس الله عز وجل ؛ أي يكره خروجهم إلى الشام ومقامهم بها فلا يوفقهم لذلك، كقوله تعالى: كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم.
And in the Hadith: 'And the worst of its people will remain on earth; their lands will reject them, and the soul of God Almighty will find them disgusting'; meaning, He dislikes their going to Sham and their staying there, so He does not grant them success for that, as He says: 'God disliked their being sent forth, so He held them back.'
يقال: قذرت الشيء أقذره إذا كرهته واجتنبته.
It is said: 'I found the thing disgusting,' meaning, 'I disliked it and avoided it.'
والقذور من الإبل: المتنحي.
And the withdrawn camel is the one that stays apart.
والقذور والقاذورة من الإبل: التي تبرك ناحية منها وتستبعد وتنافرها عند الحلب، قال: والكنوف مثلها إلا أنها لا تستبعد؛ قال الحطيئة يصف إبلا عازبة لا تسمع أصوات الناس: إذا بركت لم يؤذها صوت سامر، ... ولم يقص عن أدنى المخاض قذورها
And the qadhur and qadhura among camels are those that kneel aside and stay away and are averse to milking. He said: 'And the kanuf is like it, except that it does not stay away.' Al-Hutay'ah said, describing stray camels that do not hear people's voices: 'When she kneels, the voice of a storyteller does not bother her, ... and her qadhura does not stray from the nearest of the pregnant camels.'
أبو عبيد: القاذورة من الرجال الفاحش السيئ الخلق.
Abu Ubayd said: 'The qadhura among men is the lewd, ill-mannered one.'
الليث: القاذورة الغيور من الرجال.
Al-Layth said: 'The qadhura among men is the jealous one.'
ابن سيده: والقاذورة السيئ الخلق الغيور، وقيل: هو المتقزز.
Ibn Sidah said: 'And the qadhura is the ill-mannered, jealous one, and it is said: he is the one who is fastidious.'
وذو قاذورة: لا يخال الناس لسوء خلقه ولا ينازلهم؛ قال متمم بن نويرة يرثي أخاه: فإن تلقه في الشرب، لا تلق فاحشا ... على الكاس، ذا قاذورة متريعا
And 'dhu qadhura': he does not mix with people due to his bad character, nor does he engage with them; Mutammim bin Nuwayrah said, mourning his brother: 'If you meet him when drinking, you will not find him lewd ... at the cup, a man of qadhura, a man of pride.'
والقاذورة من الرجال: الذي لا يبالي ما قال وما صنع؛ وأنشد: أصغت إليه نظر الحيي، ... مخافة من قذر حمي
And the qadhura among men is he who does not care what he says or does; and he recited: 'She listened to him with the gaze of the shy, ... fearing from qadhir, he was protective.'
قال: والقذر القاذورة، عنى ناقة وفحلا.
He said: 'And al-qadhir is al-qadhura,' meaning a she-camel and a male camel.
وقال عبد الوهاب الكلابي: القاذورة المتطرس، وهو الذي يتقذر كل شيء ليس بنظيف.
And Abd al-Wahhab al-Kilabi said: 'Al-qadhura is al-mutatarris, and he is the one who finds everything not clean disgusting.'
أبو عبيدة: القاذورة الذي يتقذر الشيء فلا يأكله.
Abu Ubaydah said: 'Al-qadhura is one who finds a thing disgusting and does not eat it.'
وروي أن النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان قاذورة لا يأكل الدجاج حتى تعلف. القاذورة هاهنا: الذي يقذر الأشياء، وأراد بعلفها أن تطعم الشيء الطاهر، والهاء للمبالغة.
And it is narrated that the Prophet, peace be upon him, was qadhura, he would not eat chicken until it was fed. Al-qadhura here means: one who finds things disgusting, and he meant by feeding it that it should be fed pure things, and the 'ha' is for exaggeration.
وفي حديث أبي موسى في الدجاج: رأيته يأكل شيئا فقذرته أي كرهت أكله كأنه رآه يأكل القذر.
And in the Hadith of Abu Musa concerning chickens: 'I saw him eating something, and I found it disgusting,' meaning, 'I disliked eating it, as if he saw it eating filth.'
أبو الهيثم: يقال قذرت الشيء أقذره قذرا، فهو مقذور؛ قال العجاج: وقذري ما ليس بالمقذور يقول: صرت أقذر ما لم أكن أقذره في الشباب من الطعام.
Abu al-Haytham said: 'It is said, I found the thing disgusting, I find it disgusting, with disgust, so it is disgusting.' Al-A'raj said: 'And my disgust for what is not disgusting. He means: I became more disgusted than I was not disgusted in my youth by food.'
ولما رجم النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، ماعز بن مالك قال: اجتنبوا هذه القاذورة يعني الزنا؛ وقوله، صلى الله عليه وسلم: من أصاب من هذه القاذورة شيئا فليستتر بستر الله ؛ قال ابن سيده: أراه عنى به الزنا وسماه قاذورة كما سماه الله عز وجل فقال: إنه كان فاحشة ومقتا.
And when the Prophet, peace be upon him, stoned Ma'iz bin Malik, he said: 'Avoid this filth,' meaning fornication. And his saying, peace be upon him: 'Whoever commits any of this filth, let him conceal himself with God's concealment.' Ibn Sidah said: 'I think he meant fornication and called it filth, just as God Almighty called it: 'Indeed, it was an immorality and an abomination.'
وقال ابن الأثير في تفسيره: أراد به ما فيه حد كالزنا والشرب.
And Ibn al-Athir said in his interpretation: 'He meant by it what incurs a prescribed punishment, like fornication and drinking.'
ورجل قاذورة: وهو الذي يتبرم بالناس ويجلس وحده.
And a man is qadhura: he is the one who is annoyed with people and sits alone.
وفي الحديث: اجتنبوا هذه القاذورة التي نهى الله عنها. قال ابن الأثير: القاذورة هاهنا الفعل القبيح والقول السيئ.
And in the Hadith: 'Avoid this filth which God has forbidden.' Ibn al-Athir said: 'Al-qadhura here means the ugly deed and the bad word.'
وفي الحديث: هلك المقذرون يعني الذين يأتون القاذورات.
And in the Hadith: 'The muqadhdhirun perished,' meaning those who commit abominations.
ورجل قذرة، مثال همزة: يتنزه عن الملائم ملائم الأخلاق ويكرهها.
And a man is qadhira, like 'hamaza': he abstains from unpleasantness, from the unpleasantness of morals, and dislikes them.
وقذور: اسم امرأة؛ أنشد أبو زياد: وإني لأكني عن قذور بغيرها، ... وأعرب أحيانا بها فأصارح
And Qadhur: the name of a woman; Abu Ziyad recited: 'And I allude to Qadhur with another, ... and sometimes I express it openly and am frank.'
وقيذر بن إسمعيل: وهو أبو العرب، وفي التهذيب: قيذار، وهو جد العرب، يقال: بنو بنت ابن إسمعيل.
And Qayzar bin Isma'il: he is the father of the Arabs, and in Al-Tahdhib: Qaydar, he is the grandfather of the Arabs, it is said: the descendants of the daughter of the son of Isma'il.
وفي حديث كعب: قال الله تعالى لرومية: إني أقسم بعزتي لأهبن سبيك لبني قاذر أي بني إسمعيل بن إبراهيم، عليهما السلام، يريد العرب.
And in the Hadith of Ka'b: God Almighty said to Rumiyah: 'I swear by My might, I will give your captive to the children of Qadhir, meaning the children of Isma'il bin Ibrahim, peace be upon them, meaning the Arabs.'
وقاذر: اسم ابن إسمعيل، ويقال له قيذر وقيذار.
And Qadhir: the name of a son of Ishmael, and he is also called Qayzar and Qaydar.
