والبَغْرَةُ: الزَّرْعُ يُزْرَعُ بَعْدَ المَطَرِ فَيَبْقَى فِيهِ الثَّرَى حَتَّى يُحْقِلَ.

ويُقَالُ: لِفُلَانٍ بُغْرَةٌ مِنَ العَطَاءِ لَا تَعِيضُ إِذَا دَامَ عَطَاؤُهُ؛
