فذلك بمنزلة السلاح لها من ربها تمتنع به
So that is like a weapon for it from its Lord, by which it defends itself.
ما من صاحب إبل لا يؤدي حقها في نجدتها ورسلها
There is no owner of camels who does not pay its due in its hardship and its ease.
نجدتها ورسلها عسرها ويسرها
Its hardship and its ease are its difficulty and its ease.
إلا برز لها بقاع قرقر تطؤه بأخفافها
Except that a level plain will appear before it, which it will tread with its hooves.
تعطي الكريمة وتمنع الغزيرة
Give the generous one and withhold the abundant one.
ورجل نجد في الحاجة إذا كان ناجيا فيها سريعا
And a man is najd in a need if he is quick and successful in it.
والنجدة: الشجاعة
And al-najda: bravery.
ورجل نجد ونجد ونجد ونجيد شجاع ماض فيما يعجز عنه غيره
And a man is najd, najd, najd, and najeed, brave, decisive in what others are incapable of.
واستنجد الرجل إذا قوي بعد ضعف أو مرض
