فبلوغ الأشد محصور الأول محصور النهاية غير محصور ما بين ذلك
So reaching full strength has a defined beginning and a defined end, but the period in between is not confined.
وشد النهار أي ارتفع
And 'shadd al-nahar' means it rose high.
جئتك شد النهار وفي شد النهار
I came to you at the height of the day and during the height of the day.
فغدا علي رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم، بعد ما اشتد النهار
So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, went to me after the day had intensified (i.e., become very hot and bright).
أي وقت ارتفاعه وعلوه
Meaning the time of its rising and height.
وشده أي أوثقه، يشده ويشده أيضا
And 'shaddahu' means to tighten it; he tightens it and he tightens it also.
ما كان من المضاعف على فعلت غير واقع، فإن يفعل منه مكسور العين
What is from the doubled verb pattern 'fa'alta' that is not transitive, its imperfect form has a kasra on the middle root letter.
وما كان واقعا مثل مددت فإن يفعل منه مضموم إلا ثلاثة أحرف
And what is transitive like 'madadtu', its imperfect form has a dammah on the middle root letter, except for three letters.
