من يشرب الماء، ويأكل اللبخ، ... ترم عروق بطنه وينتفخ

Whoever drinks water and eats al-labakh, ... his stomach veins will burst and he will bloat

وهو بالفتح؛ قال: وهو شجر عظام أمثال الدلب وله ثمر أخضر يشبه التمر حلو جدا، إلا أنه كريه وهو جيد لوجع الأضراس، وإذا نشر شجره أرعف ناشره؛

And it is with the fatḥah (vowel); he said: it is large trees like the plane tree, and it has very sweet green fruit resembling dates, except that it is unpleasant, and it is good for toothaches, and when its wood is sawn, the sawer will bleed;

وزعم أنه إذا ضم منه لوحان ضما شديدا وجعلا في الماء سنة التحما فصارا لوحا واحدا،
