And 'أبخ عنك' from the midday heat means: wait until the heat of the day subsides and it cools down.
وعدا حتى باخ أي أعيا وانبهر.
And he ran until he became exhausted (باخ), meaning he was tired and breathless.
وهم في بوخ من أمرهم أي في اختلاط.
