And Shammir said: Al-Ḥibr is yellowness on the teeth, and when it grows large, thickens, blackens, or greens, it is Al-Qalḥ.
والرجل أقلح، والجمع قلح، من قولهم للمتوسخ الثياب قلح
And the man is أقلح (discolored), and the plural is قلح (discolored), from their saying about the one with dirty clothes that he is قلح (dirty).

المرأة إذا غاب زوجها تقلحت أي توسخت ثيابها ولم تتعهد نفسها وثيابها بالتنظيف
A woman, when her husband is absent, تقلحت (becomes dirty), meaning her clothes become dirty and she does not take care of herself and her clothes by cleaning.
وقلح الرجل والبعير: عالج قلحهما
And a man and a camel قلح (cleaned) their قلح (discoloration).
عود يقلح
A stick that cleans (teeth).
وهو في مذهبه مثل مرضت الرجل إذا قمت عليه في مرضه
And in its meaning, it is like saying 'I nursed a man' when you attend to him during his illness.
ورجل مقلح: مذلل مجرب
