وإذا نحى الرجل وجهه عن وهج أصابه أو عن أذى، قيل: قد أشاح بوجهه
And if a man turns his face away from heat that affects him or from harm, it is said: he has averted his face.

المشيح الحذر والجاد في الأمر

إذا أرخى الفرس ذنبه قيل: قد أشاح بذنبه
If a horse loosens its tail, it is said: it has let its tail hang.
وهم في مشيحى ومشيوحاء من أمرهم أي اختلاط.
And they are in confusion and entanglement regarding their affair, meaning mixing.
والمشيوحاء: أن يكون القوم في أمر يبتدرونه.

والمشيوحاء: الأرض التي تنبت الشيح، يقصر ويمد

إذا كثر نباته بمكان قيل: هذه مشيوحاء.
If its growth is abundant in a place, it is said: this is mushiyhuha.
وناقة شيحانة أي سريعة.
