Between the Arak trees and the date palms, they are laid flat... by the blue spearheads, with dew on their edges.
إنما هو تسدحهم، وكان الأصمعي يعيب من يرويه تشدخهم، ويقول: الأسنة لا تشدخ إنما ذلك يكون بحجر أو دبوس أو عمود أو نحو ذلك مما لا قطع له
It is only 'tasadduḥuhum' (laying them flat), and Al-Asma'i used to criticize whoever narrated it as 'tashdikhuhum' (crushing them), saying: Spearheads do not crush; that is done by a stone, a mace, a pillar, or something similar that is not sharp.

And so-and-so is Sadiḥ, meaning fertile.
