وزنحه يزنحه زنحا: دفعه
And 'zanahahu' he 'yaznahuhu' 'zanhan': he pushed him.
فزنج شيء، أقبل، طويل العنق
Then something 'zanj' appeared, approaching, with a long neck.
والزنح: الدفع، كأنه يريد هجوم هذا الشخص وإقباله
And 'al-zanhu': pushing, as if it means the attack and approach of this person.
ويحتمل أن يكون زلج، باللام والجيم، وهو سرعة ذهاب الشيء ومضيه
And it is possible that it is 'zalaja', with a lam and a jim, which is the swiftness of a thing's going and passing.
وقيل: هو بالحاء بمعنى سنح وعرض
And it was said: it is with a ha' meaning 'sanaha' and 'arada' (to present oneself).
والتزنح: التفتح في الكلام ورفع الإنسان نفسه فوق قدره
And 'al-tazannuhu': speaking boastfully and a person raising himself above his capacity.
تزنح بالكلام علي جهلا
'Tazannaha' with speech against me out of ignorance.
كأنك ماجد من أهل بدر
As if you are a noble one from the people of Badr.
والتزنح في الكلام: فوق الهذر
And 'al-tazannuhu' in speech: is above idle talk (hathr).
والزنح: المكافئون على الخير والشر
And 'al-zanhu': those who are equivalents in good and evil.
