And al-dāḥ: a drawing with which children are amused, by which they are entertained; it is said: the world is a dāḥ.
فقال: ما داحه؟ فقال: الدنيا
So he said: What is 'dāḥuh'? He said: The world.
وقول الصبيان الداح، منه
And the children's saying 'al-dāḥ' is from it.
