الجائحة تكون بالبرد يقع من السماء إذا عظم حجمه فكثر ضرره، وتكون بالبرد المحرق أو الحر المفرط حتى يبطل الثمن
The calamity can be from hail that falls from the sky when its volume is great and its damage is extensive, and it can be from scorching cold or excessive heat that nullifies the price.
الجائحة إنما هي آفة تجتاح الثمر سماوية، ولا تكون إلا في الثمار فيخفف الثلث على الذين اشتروه
