وَالوَثَاجَةُ: كَثْرَةُ اللَّحْمِ
And al-wathājah: abundance of flesh.
وَالوَثَارَةُ: كَثْرَةُ الشَّحْمِ، قَالَ: وَهُوَ الضَّخْمُ فِي الحَرْفَيْنِ جَمِيعًا
And al-wathārah: abundance of fat, he said: and it is the large in both terms combined.
وَوَثَجَ الفَرَسُ وَالبَعِيرُ وَثَاجَةً: كَثُرَ لَحْمُهُ، وَفِي التَّهْذِيبِ: وَهُوَ اكْتِنَازُهُ
And a horse and a camel gained flesh a thickness: its flesh became abundant, and in Al-Tahdhib: it is its plumpness.
وَقَالَ العَجَّاجُ يَصِفُ جَيْشًا: بِلَجَبٍ مِثْلَ الدُّبَى، أَوْ أَوْثَجَا
And Al-Ajjaj said describing an army: with a multitude like locusts, or abundant.
وَاسْتَوْثَجَتِ المَرْأَةُ: ضَخُمَتْ وَتَمَّتْ، وَفِي التَّهْذِيبِ: وَتَمَّ خِلْقَتُهَا
And a woman became mature: she became large and complete, and in Al-Tahdhib: and her creation was complete.
وَاسْتَوْثَجَ الشَّيْءُ، وَهُوَ نَحْوٌ مِنَ التَّمَامِ؛ يُقَالُ: اسْتَوْثَجَ نَبْتُ الأَرْضِ إِذَا عَلِقَ بَعْضُهُ بِبَعْضٍ وَتَمَّ
And a thing became complete, and it is near to completion; it is said: the plants of the earth became complete when some of it clung to others and was complete.
وَالمُؤَثِّجَةُ: الأَرْضُ الكَثِيرَةُ الكَلإِ
And Al-Mawthajah: the land abundant with grass.
وَاسْتَوْثَجَ المَالُ: كَثُرَ
And wealth became abundant: it became plentiful.
وَاسْتَوْثَجَ مِنَ المَالِ وَاسْتَوْثَقَ إِذَا اسْتَكْثَرَ مِنْهُ؛ وَيُقَالُ: أَوْثِجْ لَنَا مِنْ هَذَا الطَّعَامِ
And he acquired abundantly from wealth and acquired plentifully if he sought to increase from it; and it is said: provide us abundantly of this food.
شَمَّرٌ عَنْ بَاهِلِيٍّ: مِنَ الثِّيَابِ المُوثُوجِ، وَهُوَ الرَّخْوُ الغَزْلِ وَالنَّسْجِ

وَقَالَ ثَعْلَبٌ: المُسْتَوْثِجُ الكَثِيرُ المَالِ
And Tha'lab said: Al-Mustawthij is the one with abundant wealth.
وَوَثَجَ النَّبْتُ: طَالَ وَكَثُفَ؛ قَالَ هُمَيَانُ: مِنْ صَلِّيَانٍ وَنَصِيٍّ وَاثِجٍ
And the plants grew tall and dense; Humayyan said: from wild barley and a dense plant.
