And likewise the camel, the horse, and the she-donkey;
يظل يدعو نيبها الضَّماعِجا،
He keeps calling her stout female camels,
والبكرات اللقح الفواثجا
And the young pregnant she-camels that are wide-hipped.
وقيل: الضَّمْعَج الجارية السريعة في الحوائج.
And it is said: The Dha'maj is the swift young girl in [carrying out] needs.
والضَّمْعَج: الناقة السريعة.
And the Dha'maj: the swift female camel.
والضَّمْعَج: الفحجاء الساقين.
And the Dha'maj: the one wide-legged.
