And 'al-akhraj' from the goats: one whose half is white and half is black.
الخرجاء من الشاء التي ابيضت رجلاها مع الخاصرتين
'Al-kharjā' from sheep whose legs have become white along with the flanks.
والأخرج: جبل معروف للونه، غلب ذلك عليه، واسمه الأحول
And 'al-Akhraj': a mountain known for its color, that characteristic prevailed, and its name is 'al-Aḥwal'.
وفرس أخرج: أبيض البطن والجنبين إلى منتهى الظهر ولم يصعد إليه، ولون سائره ما كان
And a horse 'akhraj': white on the belly and flanks up to the end of the back and not ascending higher, and the color of the rest of it was whatever it was.

'Akhrajah' is the name of a water source, and so is 'Aswadah'; they were named after two mountains, one is called 'Aswad' and the other 'Akhraj'.
ويقال: اخترجوه، بمعنى استخرجوه
And it is said: 'ikhtarajūhu', meaning 'istakharajūhu' (they extracted it).

The game of children is 'kharāj', with a kasra on the jim, like 'darāk' and 'qattām'.
والخرج: واد لا منفذ فيه، ودارة الخرج هنالك
And 'al-kharj': a valley with no outlet, and the 'dārah' of 'al-kharj' is there.
وبنو الخارجية: بطن من العرب ينسبون إلى أمهم، والنسبة إليهم خارجي
And Banu al-Khārijiyyah: a clan of Arabs who trace their lineage to their mother, and the attribution to them is 'Khārijī'.

'Al-khurūj' is the alif that comes after the 'silah' in the rhyme, like the saying of Labīd: 'The dwellings are deserted, their place and their standing'.
تلزم القافية بعد الروي الخروج، ولا يكون إلا بحرف اللين
The rhyme after the 'rawiyy' is bound by 'al-khurūj', and it is only with a soft letter.
والفرق بين الخروج والوصل أن الخروج أشد بروزا عن حرف الروي واكتنافا من الوصل لأنه بعده، ولذلك سمي خروجا لأنه برز وخرج عن حرف الروي
And the difference between 'al-khurūj' and 'al-waṣl' is that 'al-khurūj' is more prominent from the rhyme letter and more encompassing than 'al-waṣl' because it comes after it, and therefore it is called 'khurūj' because it emerged and went out from the rhyme letter.

And it was said: 'kharāj walāj' if he does not hasten in a matter from which it is not easy for him to exit when he desires to do so.
وقولهم: أسرع من نكاح أم خارجة، هي امرأة من بجيلة، ولدت كثيرا في قبائل من العرب، كانوا يقولون لها: خطب فتقول: نكح وخارجة ابنها، ولا يعلم ممن هو
And their saying: 'Faster than the marriage of Umm Khārijah', she was a woman from Bajīlah, who gave birth frequently among tribes of Arabs, they used to say to her: 'He proposed', and she would say: 'He married, and Khārijah is her son', and it is not known from whom he is.
