And Al-Hashraj is the water that is under the ground, unnoticed in the flatlands, and when one digs a cubit down, it gushes with water, which the Arabs call Al-Ahsa', Al-Karrar, and Al-Hasharij.

فلثمت فاها البيت؛ ونسبه إلى جرير.

So I kissed her mouth, the verse; and he attributed it to Jarir.

المبرد: الحشرج في هذا البيت الكوز الرقيق النقي الحاري.
