It is food mixed for it with poison, so it eats it and it kills it, then its feathers are taken, and they are used to fletch arrows.
التهذيب: الغليث الطعام المخلوط بالشعير، فإن كان فيه مدر، أو زؤان، فهو المغلوث.
Al-Tahdheeb: Al-ghaleeth is food mixed with barley, and if it contains dirt or darnel, then it is Al-maghluth.
وقال لبيد: مشمولة غلثت بنابت عرفج، ... كدخان نار، ساطع أسنامها
