And Tuesday: is one of the days; its right was the third, but this form was made for it to be unique.

والحروف الثلاثية: التي اجتمع فيها ثلاثة أحرف.
And triliteral letters: are those in which three letters are gathered.
ورماه الله بثالثة الأثافي، وهي الداهية العظيمة
And may Allah strike him with the third of the hearthstones, which is the great calamity.
والثلوث من النوق: التي تملأ ثلاثة أقداح إذا حلبت
And 'al-thalūth' from the she-camels: is one that fills three cups when milked.
وجاؤوا ثلاث ثلاث، ومثلث مثلث أي ثلاثة ثلاثة.
And they came three by three, and three by three, meaning three by three.
فما حلبت إلا الثلاثة والثنى
So she was milked only three and two (times/portions).
