وبثة حرف ناقص، كأن أصله بوثة، من باث الريح الرماد يبوثه إذا فرقه
And buththah is a deficient word, as if its origin is buthah, from the wind scattering the ashes, scattering them if it dispersed them.
كأن الرماد سمي بثة لأن الريح يسفيها
As if the ashes were named buththah because the wind blew them away.
