And al-habīt: he who has al-khawla', which is fear and paralysis.
فهبتوهما حتى فرغوا منهما؛ يعني المسلمين يوم بدر أي ضربوهما بالسيف حتى قتلوهما؛

الهبت الضرب بالسيف، فكأن معنى قوله فهبتوهما بالسيف أي ضربوهما حتى وقذوهما؛
