وهيئة الصلب في الصلاة: أن يضع يديه على خاصرتيه، ويجافي بين عضديه في القيام.
And the posture of al-ṣulb in prayer: is for a man to place his hands on his hips, and keep his upper arms away from his sides in the standing position.

A shaykh from the Arabs said the most delicious morsel people have eaten is a dried Sahyanī date, thus he narrated it as muṣallabah, with the ḥā'.
وإذا بلغ الرطب اليبس فذلك التصليب، وقد صلب؛ وأنشد المازني في صفة التمر: مصلبة من أوتكى القاع
And when the date reaches dryness, that is al-taṣlīb, and it has become dry; and al-Māzinī recited in the description of dates: dried from the Awtakī of the plain
