سمى ابن مقبل خلفي الناقة توأبانيين، ولم يأت به عربي، كأن الباء مبدلة من الميم.
Ibn Muqbil named the camel's teats Tu'abaniyan, and no Arab used this form, as if the 'ba' was substituted for 'mim'.

And the 'ta' in Al-Tu'abaniyan is not original.
التوأبانيان الخلفان؛
Al-Tu'abaniyan are the two hind teats;
توأبان فوعلان من الوأب، وهو الصلب الشديد، لأن خلف الصغيرة فيه صلابة، والتاء فيه بدل من الواو، وأصله ووأبان، فلما قلبت الواو تاء صار توأبان، وألحق ياء مشددة زائدة، كما زادوها في أحمري، وهم يريدون أحمر، وفي عارية وهم يريدون عارة، ثم ثنوه فقالوا: توأبانيان.
Tu'aban is 'faw'alan' from Al-Wa'b, which means firm and strong, because the small teat has firmness in it. The 'ta' in it is a substitute for 'waw', and its origin is Wa'aban. When the 'waw' was changed to 'ta', it became Tu'aban, and an extra doubled 'ya' was added, as they added it in 'ahmari' meaning 'ahmar', and in 'ariyya' meaning 'ara', then they dualized it and said: Tu'abaniyan.
والأظراب: جمع ظرب، وهو الجبيل الصغير.
And Al-Athrab: is the plural of 'tharib', which is a small hill.
لم يسودا.
They were not darkened.
وهذا يدل على أنه أراد القادمتين من الخلف.
And this indicates that he meant the two front teats.
