التلجئة أن يلجئك أن تأتي أمرا باطنه خلاف ظاهره وذلك مثل إشهاد على أمر ظاهره خلاف باطنه.

Al-talji'ah is when something compels you to do something whose inner reality is contrary to its outward appearance, such as witnessing something whose outward appearance is contrary to its inner reality.

هذا تلجئة، فأشهد عليه غيري.

التلجئة: تفعلة من الإلجاء، كأنه قد ألجأك إلى أن تأتي أمرا باطنه خلاف ظاهره، وأحوجك إلى أن تفعل فعلا تكرهه.

Al-talji'ah is a form derived from 'ilja'' (compulsion), as if it has compelled you to do something whose inner reality is contrary to its outward appearance, and made you in need of doing something you dislike.

والملجأ واللجأ: المعقل، والجمع ألجاء.
