Al-khaj'u: sexual intercourse, the masdar of khaja'atuha. It is mentioned in Al-Tahdhib, with a fatha on the jim, among letters all like it, such as al-kila', al-risha', and al-haza' for plants, and what resembles them.

وخجأ المرأة يخجؤها خجأ: نكحها.

And khaja'a a woman, yakja'uha khaj'an: he had intercourse with her.

ورجل خجأة أي نكحة كثير النكاح.

And a man is khaj'ah, meaning one who has frequent sexual intercourse.

وفحل خجأة: كثير الضراب؛ قال اللحياني: وهو الذي لا يزال قاعيا على كل ناقة؛

And a stud camel is khaj'ah: frequent in mating; Al-Lihyani said: he is the one who is constantly mounting every she-camel;

قال محمد بن حبيب: وسوداء، من نبهان، تثني نطاقها، ... بأخجى قعور، أو جواعر ذيب «2»

Muhammad bin Habib said: And a black woman, from Nabhan, adjusts her waist-wrapper, ... with a protruding posterior, or the hindquarters of a wolf.

والعرب تقول: ما علمت مثل شارف خجأة أي ما صادفت أشد منها غلمة.

And the Arabs say: I have not known a more lustful old she-camel than this khaj'ah, meaning I have not encountered one stronger in desire.

والتخاجؤ: أن يؤرم استه ويخرج مؤخره إلى ما وراءه؛

And al-takhaju': is when one's anus is enlarged and their posterior protrudes backward;

وقال حسان بن ثابت: دعوا التخاجؤ، وامشوا مشية سجحا، ... إن الرجال ذوو عصب وتذكير

And Hassan bin Thabit said: Leave the swaggering gait, and walk with an easy stride, ... Indeed, men possess strength and virility.

والمشية السجح: السهلة؛

And the easy stride: is the smooth one;

وقيل: التخاجؤ في المشي: التباطؤ.

And it was said: Al-takhaju' in walking: is slowness.

قال ابن بري: هذا البيت في الصحاح: دعوا التخاجىء، والصحيح: التخاجؤ، لأن التفاعل في مصدر تفاعل حقه أن يكون مضموم العين نحو التقاتل والتضارب، ولا تكون العين مكسورة إلا في المعتل اللام نحو التغازي والترامي؛

Ibn al-Bari said: This verse is in Al-Sihah: 'Leave al-takhaji'', and the correct is: al-takhaju', because the pattern 'tafa'ul' in the masdar of 'tafa'ala' should have the 'ayn' vowelized with damma, like al-taqatul and al-tadarub, and the 'ayn' is only vowelized with kasra in defective verbs like al-taghazi and al-tarami;

والصواب في البيت: دعوا التخاجؤ، والبيت في التهذيب أيضا، كما هو في الصحاح، دعوا التخاجئ؛

And the correct in the verse is: 'Leave al-takhaju'', and the verse is also in Al-Tahdhib, as it is in Al-Sihah, 'Leave al-takhaji'';

وقيل: التخاجؤ مشية فيها تبختر.

And it was said: Al-takhaju' is a gait with swagger.

والخجأة: الأحمق، وهو أيضا المضطرب.

وهو أيضا الكثير اللحم الثقيل.

أبو زيد: إذا ألح عليك السائل حتى يبرمك ويملك قلت: أخجأني إخجاء وأبلطني.

Abu Zayd said: If a beggar persists with you until he annoys you and takes control, you say: Akhja'ani ikhja'an and ablatani.

شمر: خجأت خجوءا: إذا انقمعت؛

Shammar said: Khaja'tu khuju'an: if you shrink back;

وخجئت: إذا استحييت.

And khaji'tu: if you felt shy.

والخجأ: الفحش، مصدر خجئت.

And al-khaj'u: is vulgarity, the masdar of khaji'a.
