زهد

مُزْهِدٌ ذ A man possessing little property, (JK, S, A,) so that one does not desire it. (JK.) It is said in a trad., أَفْضَلُ النَّاسِ مُؤْمِنٌ مُزْهِدٌ, meaning [ The most excellent of men is a believer ] possessing little property. (S, A.)
