(TA.) The saying of 'Adee, اـِذَا أَنْتَ فَاكَهْتَ الرِّجَالَ فَلَا تَلَغْ وَقُلْ مِثْلَ مَا قَالُوا وَلَا تَتَزَنَّدِ [ When thou jestest with men, be not altogether foolish, but say like as they have said, and be not straitened, &c.,] some relate with ى [in the last word, saying تَتَزَيَّدِ: see art. زيد].
