الاـِزْمِيمُ ذ One of the nights called لَيَالِى المُحَاقِ [meaning the last three nights of the lunar month ]. (K.) ― -b2- And The decrescent moon in the last part of the [ lunar ] month, (K,) when it becomes slender and bow-shaped: Dhu-r-Rummeh uses it in this sense without the article ال: and Th says that اـِزْمِيمٌ is one of the names of the [ moon when it is termed ] هِلَال. (TA.)
