زكو

5 تزكّى ذ : see 1, first sentence. ― -b2- Also He became purified; or he purified himself: (TA:) also pronounced اِزَّكَّى, aor. يَزَّكَّى. (Bd in xxxv. 19.) ― -b3- And He endeavoured to attain much piety; from الزَّكَاآءُ. (Bd in lxxxvii. 14.) ― -b4- And He gave the poor-rate. (S.)
