زعق

زَعِقٌ ذ Fearing, or fearing by night. (K, * TA.) ― -b2- Brisk, lively, or sprightly, (S, K,) but with fear. (S.) [See also مَزْعُوقٌ.] ― -b3- هَوْلٌ زَعِقٌ Vehement terror. (TA.) -A2- بِئْرٌ زَعِقَةٌ A well of which the water is such as is termed زُعَاق. (TA.)
