زءر

(TA.) ― -b2- And [hence], said of a stallion-camel, as also ↓ ازأر, (K, by implication,) or زَأَرَ [only], (TA,) or زَأَرَ فِى هَدِيرَهِ, (A,) (tropical:) He reiterated his voice, or cry, in his chest, and then prolonged it, (A, K, TA,) in his braying: (A:) or زَأَرَ, aor. زَأَِ , he threatened in his braying. (TA.) ― -b3- [Hence also,] سَمِعَ زَئِيرَ الحَرْبِ فَطَارَ اـِلَيْهَا (tropical:) [ He heard the roaring of the war, or battle, and flew to it ]. (A, TA.)
