خيت

1 خَاتَ خات , aor. يَخِيتُ, (IAar,) inf. n. خَيْتٌ and خُيُوتٌ, (IAar, K,) and inf. n. of un. خَيْتَةٌ, (IAar,) He made a sound, syn. صَوَّتَ; (IAar, K;*) [app. with his wings, in pouncing down, or making a stoop; see 1 in art. خوت;] said of a bird.
