خوت

خَائِتٌ ذ [act. part. n. of 1]. خَائِتَةٌ signifies An eagle (عُقَابٌ) pouncing down, or making a stoop, (S, K,) and thereby causing a sound to be heard. (S.) -A2- Breaking his promise; or one who breaks a promise. (Msb.)
