خنق

مِخْنَقَةٌ مخنق مخنقه مخنقة A necklace, syn. قِلَادَةٌ, (S, Mgh, Msb, K,) that surrounds the neck; (Mgh, Msb;) wherefore it is thus called; (Msb;) [i. e., because] it lies against the مُخَنَّق: pl. مَخَانِقُ. (TA.) ― -b2- See also خِنَاقٌ. [And see زِرَادٌ.]
