6 تخافّ أخاف تخاف خاف He pressed, or bore, lightly [upon a thing]; contr. of تثاقل. (K, * TA.) Hence the saying, in a trad., اـِذَا سَجَدْتَ فَتَخَافَّ explained above: see 1, second sentence. (TA.)
