خشن

خُشَيْنَاآءُ ذ [dim. of خَشْنَاآءُ] A certain small herb, or leguminous plant, green, found in meadows, and plains; so called because of its roughness, or harshness, or coarseness. (TA.) See also خَشنَاآءُ at the end of the next paragraph.
