خشف

مَخْشَفٌ ذ A place of ice; (Sgh, K;) [ an icehouse; ] this is the meaning of the term by which Lth explains it, namely, يَخَدَان, (Sgh, TA,) [or يَخْدَانْ,] which is Persian, and which the author of the L has mistranscribed نَجْرَان, adding thereto الذى يجرى عليه الباب. (TA.)
