خشع

(K.) It is said in a trad., كَانَتِ الأَرْضُ خُشْعَةً عَلَى المَاآءِ ثُمَّ دُحِيَتْ [ The earth was a low hill, &c., upon the water: then it was spread out ]: (S:) but this trad. is variously related.
