خَتْمَةٌ ختم ختمه ختمة [an inf. n. of un. of 1, (assumed tropical:) A recitation of the whole of the Kur-án: used in this sense in the present day: pl. خَتَمَاتٌ. ― -b2- And also] vulgarly used as meaning (assumed tropical:) A copy of the Kur-án: and so ↓ خِتْمَةٌ. (TA.)
