ولى

مَوَالِيَا ذ , vulg. مَوَّال (not مَوَالِيَّا) A kind of short poem, generally of five lines, of which all but the penultimate end with the same rhyme: see note 5 to ch. xxvi. of my “ 1001 Nights. ”
