ولى

وَلَاآءٌ ذ Relationship: so in the phrase بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَاآءٌ [ Between them two is relationship ]. (JM.) ― -b2- Also used for أَصْحَابُ وَلَاآءٍ: see a verse cited voce عَيْرٌ. ― -b3- وَلَاآءٌ The right to the inheritance of the property left by an emancipated slave.
