(Msb.) ― -b2- Also, ولَدَ, (aor. as above, Msb,) He begot a child, or young one; &c. (Th, L, Msb, K.) ― -b3- أَرْضُ البَلْقَاآءِ تَلِدُ الزَّعْفَرَانَ (tropical:) [ The land of El-Balkà produces saffron ]. (A.) ― -b4- اللَّيَالِى حَبَالَى لَيْسَ يُدْرَىمَا يَلِدْنَ (tropical:) [ The nights are pregnant: it is not known what they will bring forth ].
