وعب

جَدْعٌ مُوعَبٌ ذ , (also written مُوعِبٌ, TA,) A mutilation of the nose, ear, hand, or lip, by which it is extirpated. One says, in reviling, جَدَعَهُ اللّٰه جَدْعًا موعبًا May God mutilate him by an utter mutilation of the nose, &c.! (S.)
