وطد

2 وَطَّدَ see 1. ― -b2- وطّد ا@للّٰهُ للسُّلْطَانِ مُلْكَهُ, as also اطّدهُ, (tropical:) God established, or confirmed, to the Sultán his dominion. (L.) ― -b3- وَطَّدَهُ He beat it with the implement called مِيطَدَة. (A.)
