وَسِيطٌ ذ : see وَسَطٌ, as an epithet, in five places. ― -b2- A mediator, or an intercessor, for the purpose of accommodation, (O, K,) between people, (O,) or between two persons engaged in mutual altercation or litigation. (K.)
