وزر

3 وَاْزَرَ [وَازرهُ He bore a burden with him. ― -b2- [Hence,] وازر المَلِكَ أَعْبَاآءَ المُلْكِ (tropical:) He bore with the king (حَامَلَهُ) the burden of the regal office. (A.) See also 1, last signification. ― -b3- وازرهُ عَلَى الأَمْرِ, (TA,) inf. n. مُوَازَرَةٌ, (A, TA,) He aided, assisted, or helped, him, and strengthened him, to do the thing: originally اآزَرَهُ: (A, * TA:) the former of these, وازره, is the more chaste.
