مَوْرُودٌ ذ (tropical:) Attacked by a fever periodically: (S, L:) or suffering a periodical attack of fever. (Msb.) ― -b2- An Arab of the desert said to another, مَا أَمَارُ اـِفْرَاقِ المَوْرُودِ [ What is the sign of the convalescence of him who is attacked by a periodical fever? ] and he answered, الرُّحَضَاآءُ [ The sweat which follows it; or copious sweat ].
