بِنْتُ وَرْدَانَ ذ , (Msb,) pl. بَنَاتُ وَرْدَانَ, (K,) A certain insect, (Msb, K,) well known, (K,) like the beetle, of a red colour, mostly found in baths and in privies. (Msb.)
