وتب

1 وَتَبَ ذ , aor. يَتِبُ, inf. n. وَتْبٌ, He remained fixed in the place, and did not move. (K.) Omitted by most of the lexicographers; and said by some to be a word mispronounced [app. for وَثَبَ]. (TA.)
